Leadership + Team Retreats
Real, energizing, custom experiences built around your goals, culture, and leadership style

Angie Callen in action, having fun with a group of executives building connection over shared values.
you bring the humans. we'll bring the strategy (and the fun).
Getting away with your executive leadership team or spending a day with your people shouldn’t feel like just another requirement. And it sure as heck shouldn’t feel like corporate bootcamp.
A good retreat creates space to work on the things there never seems to be enough space for at work.
Maybe your organization is growing. Your team is changing. You’re navigating new technology, shifting priorities, or a bigger set of expectations. Or maybe everyone has simply been moving so fast that it’s time to reconnect, realign, and figure out how you want to move forward together.
Whatever brought you into the room, we start by asking what you’re asking your people to do — and what they need from themselves, each other, and the organization to do it well.
That’s Engineering Human Potential.
At The Modern Coach, we design immersive experiences around the humans in the room and what you actually need to accomplish together. Purposeful facilitation, meaningful questions, shared insights, and enough fun to make sure nobody feels like they’re trapped at Corporate Retreat #427.
Getting serious work done doesn’t mean you have to take yourselves seriously the entire time…which means, we can’t guarantee there won’t be marshmallows involved.
What We Work On:
Every team comes into the room with different goals, dynamics, and challenges. Depending on what your people need, we might work on:
Shared vision, mission, and values alignment
Team trust and psychological safety
Reconnecting to purpose and potential
Strategy + communication during growth or change
Cross-functional collaboration
Reenergizing leadership and culture
Celebrating wins and resetting after big milestones
What to Expect From a TMC Retreat
No two retreats are alike, but here’s what most of ours have in common:
Co-created agenda rooted in your needs and goals
Strategic facilitation + creative exercises
Built-in time for reflection and conversation
A little bit of play, movement, or outdoor time
Action-oriented wrap-up with clear next steps
From France to the Front Range, we’ve hosted retreats in ski lodges, desert ranches, and cooking schools. Whether we’re coming into your boardroom or helping you find a place that will inspire, we design the experience around what you want your people to accomplish together.

Can’t get away for three days? We also offer high-impact one-day experiences in your boardroom, onsite, or somewhere nearby.
EVERY RETREAT IS DIFFERENT. SO IS THE SCOPE.
Every retreat and offsite is designed around your goals, your people, and what you want to accomplish together — so pricing depends on the scope of the engagement.
We also know how annoying it is to have absolutely no idea what something might cost.
As a general guide, live facilitated experiences typically start around $5,000 for a half day, $7,500 for a full day, and $15,000+ for multi-day retreats. Travel, location, planning, and the level of support involved can all affect the final investment.
Have a budget in mind that doesn’t line up perfectly with those numbers?Talk to us anyway. We’ll tell you honestly what we can make work.
LET'S DESIGN YOUR EXPERIENCE

Angie M. Callen, PCC
Founder and Principal
Angie Callen is a former civil engineer who made a hard left turn into people — and never looked back.
Today, she applies an engineer’s thinking to human systems, helping leaders and teams build the capacity to meet changing demands without losing sight of the humans doing the work. She calls it Engineering Human Potential.
As an executive coach, facilitator, and founder of The Modern Coach, Angie brings equal parts strategy, curiosity, humor, and candor to every room she enters.
